I have a similar question. I live in a HOA restricted neighborhood. My house has a concrete tile roof and is 54′ gable to gable. I could either droop the final 10′ of wire down on the far end of the house. Or I could shorten the antenna to 54 feet and use an antenna tuner at the balun box. Has anyone tried anything similar?
