    Hi there,
QRZ N2ELI Eli, I have an LNR LD-5 and absolutely love this little rig. Great receiver awesome filters, the keyer leaves a bit to be desired I guess.
Anyway recently the VFO started jumping on me while tuning around. Sometimes it is just a few KC’s but sometimes it is a couple of hundred. The only way I have been able to mitigate this problem is by tuning so so slow.. and using higher steps.. This works somewhat but it will still jump often.
Anyone else have any experience with this? It is a recent build, shipped 7-18 has 1.87 FW
    Thanks for the help.

Sounds like s dusty or faulty encoder.
If you have some “deoxit” try a small amount on the VFO stem.

Thank you for the quick response Sir.. Would normal contact cleaner cut it?
