    Hi,
Looking at the photo on the web page, I can’t see for sure whether or not the shaft of the variable capacitor in the W4OP mobile loop is isolated electrically from the drive shaft of the motor. It looks like they are joined by a metal piece of some sort. If so, doesn’t this increase the loss? The motor and its leads are then part of the antenna.
    Tnx,
    Oliver

There is no RF on the short shaft and motor- it is just way too short in
terms of wavelength to be “seen”. There is a ferrite choke on the
motor leads to prevent RF from getting onto the remote connecting cable.

Hi..i am a new user here. As per my knowledge the WD Blue disk draws 0.65A on the 5V supply and 0.5A on the 12V supply. The board boots up fine, but if I log in via SSH and log in via the “serial” console, then as soon as I log out from the “serial” console, the board freezes.Various other combinations result in the same thing. Logging in via SSH twice causes the board to freeze.
